Hot Buffalo Chicken with Ranch Kale Salad

Easy, simple weeknight dinner š½ for you and your significant other or date with netflixš„°. The chicken has a robust, bold flavor from the cheddar cheese & hot buffalo sauce and the kale š„¬ salad will cool you down with fresh celery, carrots & toasted walnuts! ⣠⣠** not sponsored by@tessemaes but I wish b/c their dressings are#whole30approved and have such clean ingredientsš- I just love them!

INGREDIENTS:ā£
3 cups chopped kale ā£
1/2 cup shredded carrots ā£
1/2 cup sliced celery ā£
1/4 cup chopped walnutsā£
@tessemaes creamy ranch (you can get at @wholefoods)ā£
2 organic boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup cheddar cheese
@tessemaes hot buffalo sauce (find at @wholefoods)ā£
1 tbsp. butter ā£
salt & pepper to taste

RECIPEā£
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.ā£
SautĆ© walnuts in skillet over medium high heat until aromatic then transfer to a plate or bowl. ā£
Blot chicken and then season with salt & pepper and sear for 3 minutes on each side in a medium sautĆ© pan until golden brown. ā£
Transfer chicken to a well-oiled foil lined baking sheet, /sprinkle with cheddar cheese and cook for 12 minutes. ā£
In a large bowl, combine 2 tbsp. ranch & salt and pepper with kale and massage kale with fingers to soften kale. ā£
Add in walnuts, celery, carrots & however much more ranch dressing as you would like.ā£
In sauce pan for walnuts, pour in 1/4 cup@tessemaes hot buffalo sauce & add in 1 tbsp. butter, warm sauce over medium heat until butter is melted. ā£
Slice chicken and spoon buffalo sauce on top and serve with kale salad! ā£
